Biography
Dr. Douglas Beals is a distinguished oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a leading instructor at Whitecap Institute. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1988, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1993 and a Master of Science degree in 1997, all from The Ohio State University. A Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Beals has been at the forefront of advancing surgical techniques and education.
Since entering private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1997, Dr. Beals has gained over two decades of clinical experience, specializing in comprehensive oral and maxillofacial care. In 2015, he expanded his commitment to education by joining the clinical faculty at Midwestern University in Arizona, where he mentors the next generation of dental professionals. At Whitecap Institute, Dr. Beals combines his extensive expertise with a passion for teaching, guiding dentists in mastering advanced surgical techniques to elevate their practice.

Dr. Siu, raised in Vancouver, Canada, earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia and obtained his dental degree with honors from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2004. He completed specialty training and received a periodontal certificate and an M.S. degree in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville in 2007. Since then, Dr. Siu has balanced between practicing in the Greater Phoenix Area, and teaching at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he received the Educator Award from the American Academy of Periodontology in 2012 and 2020. At Whitecap Institute, he shares his extensive knowledge and expertise to empower dentists in mastering advanced periodontal and implant techniques.

Dr. Mitra Macmillan is an esteemed alumnus of the University of Southern California (USC), where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Dentistry from 1991 to 1995, followed by advanced training in Prosthodontics/Prosthodontology from 1995 to 1998. With over two decades of experience in dentistry, Dr. Macmillan is a highly skilled professional specializing in advanced dental treatments, including Endodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Teeth Whitening, and Dental Implants. Her expertise extends to complex full arch procedures and innovative solutions like the DIOnavi digital implant system.
As a pioneer in transforming denture cases into fully functional implant-supported restorations in a single day, Dr. Macmillan has revolutionized patient care with her cutting-edge approach. Her practice emphasizes comprehensive dental solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality, and patient satisfaction.
